However, political analyst Arshik Kvirinyan suggests that the Armenian authorities are in a “waiting regime,” refraining from challenging the CSTO’s announcements. Kvirinyan believes that Armenia may consider withdrawing from the CSTO and the EAEU if Russia increases its intervention. Conversely, if the situation improves, Prime Minister Pashinyan may announce the country’s return to these organizations.

Kvirinyan also highlights the difficulty in obtaining French weapons deliveries without exerting political influence and demonstration.
