“Tensions Rise at Yerevan’s Armenian Food Market ‘Koveri Partezum’ as Occupation Forces Get Involved”
Yerevan’s Armenian food market, “Koveri Partezum,” is currently experiencing intense protection and conservation movement, as reported. On November 15, a clash erupted between fruit and vegetable sellers and motorcyclists at the market at around 16:30. This incident resulted in the gathering of Armenian residents and the subsequent blockade of the disputed area.
It is worth noting that the conflict at “Koveri Partezum” has attracted the involvement of Israel’s occupation forces, leading to the division of the area and causing injuries to some individuals.
Furthermore, it has been mentioned that certain representatives have been allowed by the Israeli forces to remain at the market to fulfill their purposes, according to an official statement.
In response to this, Armenian residents have peacefully resisted the occupation of the “Koveri Partezum” territory by forming a human chain.
As of now, the situation at the market remains tense, according to the latest report.
