“Parliamentary Group Leader Fires Back at Armed Forces Chief: ‘Armenia is not a Sultanate!'”

In a recent lecture on negotiations, the statement that stood out was made by Seran Ohanyan, the head of the “Armenia” parliamentary group. During a meeting with journalists in the Parliament on November 15, Ohanyan responded to the statements made by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Araik Mirzoyan.

It is worth recalling that Chief of Staff Mirzoyan had sent an appeal to Vahagn Varhanyan in the Parliament. In his appeal, Mirzoyan stated, “You were trained and it was the same system, and you were disciplined that they put on the car it was done as much as necessary and they did not put on the car it was done much as much as necessary, so that Armenia is considered a regional sultanate here and other oligarchs are brought in uniforms and work like other politicians. We are in a different situation now.”

In response, Seran Ohanyan stated, “If the word refers to a sultanate, they themselves should bring sultans without officers. Military technology without losses.” Ohanyan also reminded everyone that the armed forces of Armenia have made significant progress in recent times, including in sports and combating corruption.

Overall, it is clear that tensions exist within the armed forces in Armenia, with differing opinions on the role and direction of the military. This situation is certainly worth keeping an eye on as it unfolds.
