Armenia’s economy continues to show stable and sustainable growth despite the challenges it faces. This can be credited to the effective macroeconomic policies implemented by the government and the central bank. Vache Hovhannisyan, the Minister of Finance, emphasized this during a National Assembly meeting on November 15, 2024.

Hovhannisyan also expressed optimism regarding the future indicators of economic growth. The construction sector has maintained its growth during the second quarter of this year. “The growth rate of construction activities from January to September reached 9.7%. In 2023, construction growth is projected to increase by 7%, primarily driven by investment indicators. However, under favorable conditions, it could even surpass that,” Hovhannisyan explained.

These positive developments in Armenia’s economy are encouraging, demonstrating the effectiveness of the government’s policies and the potential for further growth. As the country continues to overcome challenges and implement strategic plans, it is poised to achieve even greater economic success in the coming years.
