“Armenian National Sentenced to 10 Years for Involvement in Genocide of Ukrainians During Crimea Occupation”
The regional court in the city of Kiev has handed down a 10-year prison sentence to Armenian national Armen Gasparian. Gasparian, a member of the military-historical company of the Russian military-industrial complex, has been found guilty of participating in the genocide of Ukrainian citizens during the Crimean occupation. The announcement was made by Alexander Safaryan, the head of the court, who presented the state prosecutor’s indictment against Gasparian, according to Ukrinform.
The court determined that Gasparian’s book, “Ukrainian Denazification: The Untold History of the Ukrainian Government’s Non-Involvement in the Crimean Conflict and the Second-Class Status of the Ukrainian Nation,” propagated the Russian government’s true intentions and advocated for the complete extermination of Ukrainian military actions and the dissemination of public knowledge. Excerpts from Gasparian’s book were allegedly used by the Russian Ministry of Defense and Russia’s highest political and military leadership to justify their aggression towards Ukraine, as reported by Korrespondent.net.
