“Armenian Apostolic Church Honors Fallen Heroes with Liturgy and Heartwarming Reunions”

On November 14, the Armenian Apostolic Church’s leader, Archbishop Ghevorg Saroyan, granted his blessings to a liturgy being celebrated in the churches of Massis community. This special service aims to honor the memory of our compatriots from Karabakh who tragically lost their lives during the war. The Armenian refugees from Artsakh, along with their adoptive Armenian parents, gathered at the Holy Thaddeus Church in the city of Massis on November 10 to commemorate this occasion.

During the gathering, the adoptive parents of the refugees expressed the significance of this meeting for the brothers and sisters to be reunited. It was a heartfelt moment for each refugee to finally meet and embrace their adoptive siblings. The power of family and unity was evident as they shared their stories and experiences.

The memory of the fallen compatriots from Karabakh will forever be alive in the hearts and minds of the Armenian community. Their sacrifices will not be forgotten, and their legacy will continue to inspire future generations.

This heartwarming event serves as a reminder of the resilient spirit of the Armenian people, even in the face of adversity. It shows the importance of community and the support that can be found within it. Through the efforts of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the love of adoptive parents, these refugees have found a new home that embraces and cherishes their Armenian identity.

As we reflect on this gathering, let us remember the strength and resilience of our compatriots from Karabakh who perished. May their memory be a guiding light for us all, as we strive for peace, unity, and justice in our world.
