“The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Calls for Concrete Action to Combat Terrorism: 57 Islamic and Arab Countries Urged to Support OIC Declaration”

The political advisory of the leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ali Shamkhani, has urged for the implementation of practical measures to support the final declaration of the 57 Islamic and Arab countries at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in their fight against terrorism. According to the Mehr news agency, Shamkhani emphasized the need for “active actions to confront the escalating terrorist activities of the oppressive Israeli regime,” but stated that the current efforts are not enough.

Ali Shamkhani shared this message on his X microblog, highlighting the demand for effective measures from Islamic countries. These measures include areas such as energy, trade, tourism, and diplomatic ties, which could be utilized to support the anti-terrorism cause, similar to how Israel’s regime operates.

Over the weekend, Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries called for a boycott of Qatar. They denied the involvement of Iran’s state organs in terrorist activities and acts of violence against humanity, as stated in the anti-terrorist declaration. The Gazakh Court of the OIC also brought attention to the need for addressing the actions of the Palestinians and human rights activists who have carried out acts of violence.

The meeting to discuss these issues was attended by ten heads of state, including Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah, and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
