“Hyveiz Airlines Makes Grand Entrance into Armenian Market with First Cargo Plane Arrival”
Hyveiz airline, known for its cargo delivery services, has recently relocated its first aircraft to Yerevan, Armenia. The Boeing 737-400SF cargo plane, originally owned by Zvartnots, was transferred from the East Midlands airport in the UK, with a technical stopover in Kutaisi, Georgia. This aircraft, originally built in 1997 for passenger flights, was operated by China Xinhua Airlines before being converted to a special freighter configuration in 2012-2013. It was then transferred to Russia and operated by the Atran cargo airline, a part of the Volga-Dnepr Russian group of companies.
Despite being operated by a Russian carrier, the aircraft was registered as VP-BCK and based in Bermuda. However, following the Russia-Ukraine conflict in 2022, Russian aircraft can no longer be registered in Bermuda. Consequently, the aircraft was transferred to Sharjah in January 2022, and later to the United Kingdom before arriving in Armenia.
