On November 11th, a significant car accident occurred in the Syunik region. At approximately 19:50, a Range Rover traveling from Novashen to Verin Khotanan suddenly veered off the road, travelling about 20 meters before crashing into the hillside. SHAMSHYAN.com has reported on the incident. Photographer Gagik Shamshyan has stated that two individuals involved in the accident received immediate emergency medical assistance from the doctors at Kapan’s Emergency Hospital, but were later transported to the hospital. The area where the accident took place has been cordoned off by the rescue service of the RA MES since March 1st for investigation purposes. Rescue workers have towed the car and cleared the scene. Gagik Zakaryan, the head of the RA MES branch in Syunik, led the operation with assistance from Narek Manukyan, the chief cameraman of the rescue service, David Manukyan, and Azat Tadevosyan, the head of the district rescue service.
