“Hospitals in Gaza Face Ventilator Shortage Amidst Hamas Measures, Unable to Respond to CNN’s Inquiry, Calls for Help From Red Cross”
The Israeli Defense Minister (CAHAL), Al-Nasr and Al-Rantisi pediatric hospitals have responded to CNN’s inquiry regarding the shortage of ventilators. They have stated that they are currently facing intense measures from Hamas and are unable to respond to these questions.
According to Mustafa al-Kahlu, the director of both hospitals, treatments are being delayed as a result of the ventilator shortage. Employees are also unable to leave due to the circumstances.
In response to CNN’s inquiry, CAHAL has explained that they cannot answer or confirm any military operations as they are conducted in secrecy.
Al-Kahlu has reached out to the Red Cross for assistance on Friday, expressing their complete trapment. Ventilators are located near the hospital, but they are unable to access them.
