“Dust Levels in Yerevan Reach Dangerous Heights: Permissible Levels Exceeded for Over a Week”

From November 2 to 8, the air in Yerevan was filled with an unusually high concentration of dust, surpassing the permissible level. The “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center” reported that the dust concentration exceeded the limit not only in the Central Administrative District but also in Arabkir on November 8, and in Nor Nork on November 5 and 7. Fortunately, the levels of carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide remained within the permissible range. This is not an isolated incident, as just a week prior, from October 26 to November 1, Yerevan also experienced a significant dust concentration, particularly in the Central Administrative District.
