“Armenia’s Readiness for Peace: Minister of Defense calls for Meeting in Brussels to Resole Border Dispute and Secure Territory”

The planned meeting between leaders that was supposed to take place in October did not happen, although Armenia expressed readiness to attend. However, it appears that this meeting did not take place. Despite this setback, we remain hopeful that a meeting will be possible in the near future.

In an announcement today from Brussels, it was stated that Armenia’s Minister of Defense, Arman Grigoryan, has expressed Armenia’s willingness to meet in Brussels and their desire for peace. The Minister mentioned that assurances of readiness for peace have been received and emphasized the importance of demarcating the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is crucial to ensuring the full territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia, spanning 29,800 square kilometers. These principles, based on international publications, are significant and Armenia is prepared to engage in negotiations to address any existing problems.

One of the pressing matters is the issue of prisoners of war and the need to consolidate peace. Armenia is committed to continued negotiations and is ready to participate in the Brussels meeting, adhering to the given deadline, with the intention of signing a peace agreement. The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia emphasized their dedication to resolving these matters.
