“United Armenian Family Joins Forces with Republic of Artsakh to Support People Amidst Aggression and Ceasefire Violations”
The “United Armenian Family” organization, headed by Samvel Babayan, has announced its cooperation with the Republic of Artsakh to support the people facing the current situation caused by aggression and ceasefire violations from Azerbaijani armed forces. The operations carried out by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Artsakh have resulted in the sacrifice of many brave individuals, leading to the subjugation of the Artsakh government. This creates not only internal problems but also external challenges for Artsakh.
After just two weeks of establishment and recognition by the Republic of Armenia, the “United Armenian Family” has formed a special committee comprising representatives from the National Assembly and socio-political and civil society leaders from Armenia and the Diaspora. The primary goal of this committee is to hold consultations within the framework of the Republic of Armenia’s Constitution and/or the established procedure of the Constitutional Court to find a solution for the situation in Artsakh.
However, the co-chairs of the committee disagree with participating in consultations that deviate from the established constitutional mechanism. The “United Armenian Family” remains firm in its decision – they support the establishment of an administration in Artsakh and other regions, chosen by the people and in accordance with the decision of the Artsakh population. This includes representatives from the National Assembly, local self-government bodies, and socio-economic organizations.
The United Armenian Family’s commitment to the Armenian people and their continuous efforts to address the challenges in Artsakh demonstrate their dedication to finding a solution for the region’s stability and prosperity.
