“Indian Defense Forces Showcase Elite Weapon Systems in Joint Military Exercises with China”
Indian defense forces recently conducted joint military exercises with China in the northeastern regions of India. According to India Today, the exercises involved the use of the Indian Air Force’s elite weapon systems, such as the S-400 missile defense system, Su-30, Rafale, Tejas fighter jets, and Prachand surface-to-air missiles. These exercises took place from October 30 to November 4.
The cooperative exercises were carried out as part of the collaboration between the Indian and Russian armed forces. Special forces units also participated in special operations and counter-terrorism demonstrations, both during the day and at night.
The joint operations included the Indian Army’s Eastern Command and the Eastern Theater Command of the People’s Liberation Army of China. The Indian Navy’s amphibious operations were also involved, making the exercises comprehensive in nature.
These military exercises aimed to assess the preparedness of the Indian armed forces. Given the ongoing tensions and disputes in border areas between India and China, such exercises serve a significant purpose.
