“EU Takes Action: Sanctions on Belarus, Aid to Armenia, and Trilateral Negotiations in the Works”
European Union President Ursula von der Leyen has announced that EU sanctions on Belarus will be implemented in conjunction with the United Kingdom and Moldova, provided certain conditions are met. Additionally, the European Union will be considering extending assistance to Armenia in light of the ongoing situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, as reported by the BBC.
The culmination of the trilateral negotiations involving the concerned parties is anticipated to occur in December, during the EU summit. Von der Leyen has stated that discussions regarding the EU’s collaboration with Ukraine as part of the partnership will commence once Kyiv fulfills additional requirements pertaining to the rule of law, economic reforms, and human rights.
