Kamala Harris Holds Phone Conversation with Arab Union and Bahreinian Representatives on Humanitarian Aid for Gas Zone Residents
The US Ambassador to Armenia, Kamala Harris, had a telephone conversation on Wednesday with representatives of the Bahraini and Arab Union of Emirati Services to discuss the activation of humanitarian aid for the residents of the Gas Zone. This was reported by the Civil Defense Staff of Spitak. According to a statement, Bahrain’s Prime Minister, Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, expressed support for the implementation of humanitarian aid for Gas Zone residents and emphasized the importance of equality in terms of security, development, and freedom for both foreigners and residents.
The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, discussed with the US President’s Special Envoy in the Near East the measures taken to ensure the protection of the American Embassy’s mission. The conversation focused on the steps the US has taken in this regard. Additionally, Foreign Minister Mohamad Zaed Al Nahayan had a conversation with US EAE President Muhammed Ben Isi Al Khalifa, during which they discussed increasing the supply of food, water, and medical resources for the gas zone’s population.
In another conversation with the US President’s representative, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Mohamad Ben Zaed Al Nahayan, talked about the importance of protecting the gas zone’s population and adhering to international migration norms. The two countries’ representatives expressed concerns about the safety of American and Armenian businesses operating in the gas zone.
On November 5, the US Ambassador to Armenia, Anthony Blinken, met with the Ministry of Defense of Baghdad to discuss active aid provision for the residents of Mamulli of Bathdadat and Vashingdon in terms of humanitarian assistance. This meeting aimed to address the urgent needs of the affected population in these regions.
