“Multiple Cars Involved in Devastating Collision in Yerevan: Four Individuals, Including Two Children, Suffer Serious Injuries”
Today, a major car accident took place in Yerevan. It occurred at the intersection of Sayat Nova Street and Alek Manukyan Street at around 20:20. The accident involved two cars, a Lexus and a BMW, which collided. According to Shamshyan.com, after the initial collision, the BMW also struck two cars, an Akura and a Nissan Altima, at a nearby intersection. As a result, four individuals, including two children, were seriously injured and transported to hospitals in Yerevan.
Immediate assistance was provided to the victims by both city residents and the operational reserve of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia. They were part of the operation center responsible for carrying out special rescue operations in the country. Using special technical tools, the rescuers were able to extricate two of the victims from the car. The collision caused the cars involved to end up near the flow of the adjacent road.
Following the accident, an emergency situation was declared at the traffic police department. Currently, the forensic department and the traffic police department are conducting an investigation into the incident, aiming to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the collision.
