Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan Celebrates Winners of “Best of the Prime Minister” Contest in Echmiadzin City
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated today in the award ceremony of the 3rd “Best of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia” contest in Echmiadzin city. The contest included representatives from the Prime Minister’s office, schoolchildren born between 2006 and 2010, and a separate team of young athletes. Winners in each age group, as well as the young athletes, received certificates of merit, medals, and financial prizes.
The schoolchildren in the first group won the 4 km race, with the medal being awarded to the “Zvartnots” historical archive-museum located near the Ararat-Echmiadzin highway. Participants from the second and third age groups, as well as the separate group of young athletes, completed a 10 km race towards the Parakar-Echmiadzin highway.
The contest also featured young athletes who have been involved in athletics for the last 5 years, representing the accomplishments of Armenian athletics and international competitions. During the event, certificates of merit, gold medals, and financial prizes were awarded to participants in each age group and the separate group of young athletes in the fields of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.
In his speech, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed his gratitude to all the participants and emphasized the importance of the contest in promoting development, unity, and the preservation of values. He also mentioned plans to expand the event and organize similar marathons in different provinces of the country, with a focus on creating sports facilities.
The Prime Minister concluded his speech by thanking all the participants and representatives from other countries, while also highlighting the potential for the contest to contribute to the sports development and overall progress of the nation.
