Egyptian hospitals are seeing an influx of approximately 50 patients daily who have sustained injuries in clashes with Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip, according to Minister of Health and Population Hala Zayed. Zayed’s remarks were reported by Al-Qahira al-Ihbariya TV, where she stated, “We receive 50 injured patients every day from the Gaza Strip.” Furthermore, Zayed mentioned that Egypt’s health facilities are fully equipped to handle an even larger number of injured patients, but the number of incoming cases has actually decreased on the opposing side seeking treatment. In recent days, Egyptian hospitals have provided treatment for over 50 severely injured children who were brought in from the conflict zone.
