“Armenia Launches “World Dandelion” Charity with Support from Germany, Aims to Help All Citizens”

The “World Dandelion” charity is set to offer support to individuals in Armenia, as announced by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a meeting with German Ambassador to Armenia Anna Berbock in Yerevan on November 3. Mirzoyan highlighted the series of meetings, phone calls, and discussions held with international partners over the past year, aiming to enhance the existing system. He noted the signing of cooperation agreements across various sectors, with Germany being a key trading partner for Armenia. Mirzoyan praised the German counterparts for their willingness to contribute and assist Armenia. Energy programs, particularly the “Settlement of Sevan Electric Nettle” initiative led by the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources, were among the topics discussed. Moreover, Mirzoyan emphasized the participation of over 100,000 Armenians in the campaign against gender-based violence, initiated by Karabakh as a response to Azerbaijan’s aggressive war actions. Nevertheless, the full impact of the clashes within the Republic of Armenia is yet to be comprehended as foreign nationals continue to leave the region. Despite not disclosing specific figures, Armenia has conveyed its readiness to adhere to the trilateral statement with Azerbaijan, which Mirzoyan shared. The statement, received in Grenada, aligns with the ceasefire agreement and aims to uphold territorial integrity, demarcation, and delimitation based on recent mapping data, as well as principles of self-determination, change, and equality. Furthermore, the statement aims to strengthen the enforcement of the Arm-twister. Mirzoyan concluded by expressing gratitude to the German government for their humanitarian support and referring to the forthcoming establishment of the “World Dandelion” charity, which intends to provide aid to individuals in need.
