Heroic VOCA Employees Detect and Quarantine Suspected COVID-19 Case During Volunteer Activities

A 37-year-old man showing symptoms of a severe respiratory infection has been detected and quarantined by VOCA employees participating in active-volunteer activities in Babajanyan Street, the capital’s residential areas. The incident occurred on July 18, and it was later discovered that the man’s test result was a false-positive. This information was reported by NEWS.am.

According to NEWS.am, on July 10 at 21:00, in Arakelyan Street in the capital, the individual under investigation had engaged in violent behavior, physically and psychologically harming one of the protest participants. As a result, the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts’ court ordered a general medical examination for the 37-year-old man, who was involved in a criminal case of public disturbance. However, he resisted arrest, leading to the authorities issuing a search warrant for his appearance.
