Over 1000 residents living in settlements with a cash payment scheme will not be receiving any government payments until the end of this year. During a government meeting on November 2nd, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Narik Mkrtchyan, expressing concern about the delays in payments. Pashinyan emphasized the need for transparency and accountability, stating that cash payments should not be made in areas where there are visible gaps and inconsistencies. He further emphasized the importance of accurate statistics, particularly in relation to the number of beneficiaries. Pashinyan announced that approximately 100,000 individuals, rather than the previously estimated 90,000, will be published with concise addresses and identification cards.
