“Budding Controversy: Marijuana Plants Discovered in Arach Village Tunnels, Prompting Investigation”
Residents of Arach village in Aragatsotn province recently conducted checks in a field located in Shamiram village. Their goal was to monitor the tunnels belonging to a 33-year-old village resident known as “Mersedes.” To their surprise, they discovered marijuana plants growing there.
The driver and a 24-year-old assistant were the ones who reported the presence of these plants. They claimed that the plants originated from the greenhouses in Arach village. Both individuals were taken into custody and later transferred to the Department of the Interior in Aparan.
All relevant documents pertaining to the case have been sent to the regional prosecutor’s office in Aragatsotn. The investigations into this incident are still ongoing.
