“Apaven” international transport company and the Armenian Red Cross Society have come together to sign a memorandum of cooperation on November 1. The aim of this partnership is to jointly implement humanitarian programs in support of the residents who have been displaced from Artsakh to Armenia.

According to NEWS.am, “Apaven” LLC has pledged a generous donation of 40,000,000 drams to the Armenian Red Cross Society. This donation will go towards providing humanitarian assistance, organizing medical care, packaging, and distributing aid to the affected population.

The memorandum was signed by Arsen Ghazaryan, the CEO of “Apaven” company, and Anna Eghiazaryan, the Executive Director of the Armenian Red Cross Society. Both parties stressed the significance of coordinated cooperation in effectively addressing the urgent needs of the affected population and improving their living conditions. Additionally, they aim to find necessary solutions to tackle the social consequences of the recent hostilities, including the provision of essential medical supplies.

It is important to highlight that “Apaven” is not only extending their support to the Armenian Red Cross Society, but they have also offered assistance to the Burnaqa astronomical observatory in Byurakan. This observatory has been funded by 40 compatriots from Artsakh who have been displaced to Armenia.
