“6.3 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Eastern Nusa Tenggara: Aftershocks Shake Central India’s Province”
Central India’s Eastern Nusa Tenggara province was struck by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake, as reported by the meteorology, climatology, and geophysics agency. The earthquake took place on Thursday at 04:04 local time. The epicenter of the quake was found in the sea, approximately 15 km east of Kupang city, with its source estimated to be 25 km underground, according to Xinhua.
Fortunately, there have been no immediate reports of any casualties resulting from the earthquake. Nevertheless, the region continues to experience heightened activity, with several aftershocks following the initial tremor.
