The information technology (IT) field in Armenia may be narrow in terms of high-tech technologies, but it is being recognized as the most advanced in the country. Sergey Parsyan, an analyst, recently shared this observation on his Facebook page.

During the discussions on the draft law of the state budget for 2024, Minister of Finance Hakob Arshakyan acknowledged the lack of significant presence of Armenia in the field of high-tech technologies.

Despite this, it is important to note that Armenia has made significant strides in information technology and continues to progress in this sector.

As the country endeavors to establish itself as a hub for technology and innovation, the field of IT in Armenia holds great potential for growth and development.

Efforts should be made to further strengthen the presence of high-tech technologies in the country and foster an environment that nurtures innovation and attracts investment in the IT sector.
